Missouri Floods 2011

In response to the recent flooding that has devastated the city of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where damages are enormous and where 900 families have been affected, including homes, businesses, churches etc., our assessment is to IMMEDIATELY deliver the necessary Disaster Recovery Kits.

 
NOTE: Poplar Bluff is the location of our sister denominational headquarters, The General Baptists.
 
CONTACT: Our team has been in contact with Dr. James Murray, Executive Director of the General Baptists along with Dr. John Sloan, Director of Church Services.
 
HOW THE HARVEST CONNECTION IS RESPONDING
 
  • IMMEDIATE NEED
DISASTER RECOVERY KITS
Our Team identified this greatest need with the Coordinator. AS SOON AS WE RECEIVE A TRAILER LOAD, DELIVERY WILL BE MADE.
  • Constant contact with their Coordinator is being made by our Team.
  • OUR RESPONSE is in keeping with the return of residents and the DISASTER DECLARATION activity issued by FEMA.
  • This is an IMMEDIATE NEED and is the time for our church to be there for others.
 
SPECIAL NOTE:  To enhance our ability for providing recovery assistance, we definitely need the PRAYER and financial support of our constituency.
